2018 Democratic Attorney General’s Debate

A debate between Leecia Eve, Sean Patrick Maloney, Zephyr Teachout, and Letitia James, 2018 Democratic candidates for NY Attorney General, will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2018. The debate will be held at The Cooper Union at 7:00 – 8:30 PM and can be livestreamed on www.Facebook.com/cooperunion, www.youtube.com/cooperunion and CAFE.com.

2018 Democratic Governor’s Debate

A debate between Cynthia Nixon and Andrew Cuomo, 2018 Democratic candidates for NY Governor, will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. The debate will be held at Hofstra University at 5:00 PM, but broadcast on CBS at 7:00 PM. The NYC CBS station, newyork.cbslocal.com, will have a link on their web site for viewing the debate, though they say CBS stations throughout New York may be televising the debate.

Joyce Riley Kickoff Picnic

Joyce Riley, candidate for Town of Gaines Councilperson, will be hosting an End of Summer Kickoff Picnic on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM. 2018 Summer Picnic

Join us at the 2018 Orleans County Democratic Summer Picnic on Sunday, July 8, 2018, Noon – 3:00 PM at Bullard Park in Albion. Food will be served starting at 12:30 PM. We will have Hamburgers, Sausages, Hot Dogs, Sides and Dessert.

We will auction a variety of donated items to raise funds to help support our candidates. Additionally, there will be music, activities for kids, and a chance to meet a few candidates.

Workshop – Women Leaders

A message from Diana Kastenbaum: One thing I am passionate about is getting qualified Democratic women in leadership positions and running for office. I am sponsoring this Workshop along with the Genesee, Livingston, Orleans, Wyoming (GLOW) Democratic Chairs and the Ontario County Chair to identify women in our rural area who want to run for office or take a leadership position in their communities. The workshop will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Dibble Family Center, 4120 W Main Street Rd, Batavia, NY.

Spring 2018 Dinner

Join us on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the QWL Building in Albion for our annual Spring Dinner. Help support the activities of your local Democratic Party and have a great meal at the same time.

This year’s dinner will feature Beef on Weck, potatoes, baked beans, salad, and a choice of brownie or lemon bar with a scoop of ice cream.  We will also raffle a number of donated baskets.
