Summer 2017 Picnic

Bring the family to the 60th Annual Orleans County Democratic Party Summer Picnic on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Bullard Park in Albion, NY. We plan to start gathering at noon, with food to follow around 1:00 PM. This year we will serve Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Italian Sausage and an assortment of sides. Of The Bear will provide the music and volunteers will coordinate activities for kids.

Later in the afternoon we will auction a selection of donated items. A number of candidates for office should be on hand, so this will be a great opportunity to meet them. Please show your support for the Democratic Party in Orleans County as we gear up for this fall’s election!

Tickets are $10/adult and $5/child (12 and under) and takeouts are available. Tickets are available from committee members. You can also email info@orleansdemocrats.com to arrange for tickets or to donate an item for the auction.

Lt. Gov. Hochul at Buffalo Pride Parade

Who: Lt. Governor Kathy Hochul
What: March with Lt. Governor Kathy Hochul in the Buffalo Pride Parade
Where: Buffalo State College
When: Sunday, June 4 at 11:30 AM (parade starts at noon, so don’t be late!)

Join us for a fun parade! Governor Cuomo and Lt. Governor Kathy Hochul are longtime supporters of our LGBT community.

In 2011, New York passed the historic Marriage Equality Act and sent a message to the nation that it was time to end one of society’s greatest inequities.

But there is still more to be done to protect all New Yorkers from discrimination based on sexual orientation. That’s why getting our message out at this year’s Pride Parade in Buffalo is so important.

The first 125 participants to RSVP will receive a free t-shirt to wear in the parade!

Please email Mo Sumbundu to RSVP at msumbundu@gmail.com or Karen Mahony at karen_mahony@yahoo.com.

Thank you,
Sam Hoyt
